2024 Harrower Summer Opera Gala Dinner
Celebrate the artistry and achievements of the Harrower Summer Opera Workshop students at the 2024 Harrower Summer Opera Gala Dinner. This elegant event, hosted in Veterans Memorial Hall in Dahlberg Hall, will honor the two opera productions of the season: Little Women and Susannah.

Susannah
- Dates: Friday, June 14, 7:30 PM & Saturday, June 15, 3:00 PM
- Synopsis: In a small Tennessee town, the young and humble Susannah becomes the center of scandal and envy. A new preacher’s arrival triggers a series of tragic events fueled by jealousy, lies, gossip, and lustful desires, turning an innocent girl into a shunned sinner. Carlisle Floyd’s opera reveals the dark desires that can tear at the human soul.
Little Women

- Synopsis: Mark Adamo’s operatic adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel captures the spiritedness of youth confronting the challenges of adulthood. Set in post-Civil War New England, this touching story follows the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—as they navigate the bonds of family and friendship in a coming-of-age tale where nothing ever stays the same.
