Sound Bath & Restorative Yoga
Join us for a transformative journey of relaxation and self-discovery in our Sound Bath & Restorative Yoga class. This unique experience invites participants to explore their inner awareness while benefiting from the soothing properties of sound and restorative yoga.
Restorative Yoga for Deep Relaxation
During the restorative yoga portion of the class, participants will engage in gentle poses held for extended periods, supported by props to ensure comfort and stability. The primary goal of restorative yoga is to promote physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. By allowing the body to deeply relax in these poses, individuals can release tension and stress, leading to a profound sense of well-being.
Chakra Healing Practices
In addition to restorative yoga, attendees will learn about the chakras—energy centers within the body that can influence overall health and wellness. The session will cover techniques to charge and discharge each chakra and incorporate various healing practices. Using Reiki, participants will work to open, balance, and align these essential energy portals, enhancing their physical and emotional states.
Sound Bath Experience
The sound bath component is a meditative practice that envelops participants in deep sound vibrations, promoting relaxation and healing. This experience helps to quiet the fight-or-flight response, encouraging the body to enter a more tranquil state.
Event Details
Participants are encouraged to bring a journal for reflection and note-taking. All mats and props will be provided for your convenience.
Tickets and Donations
Tickets are priced at $25, with proceeds benefiting Healing Hands Reiki and Spiritual Development Inc., a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As such, all donations are tax-deductible.
Registration Requirements
Attendees must register via Eventbrite or by phone at least one hour prior to the class. If participants arrive more than five minutes late, they are advised to attend the next scheduled class. Please note that no shoes are allowed in the shala, and all shoes should be placed in the designated shoe area.
Instructor Profile
The session will be led by Tiffany N. Monroe, the Founder and CEO of Healing Hands Reiki & Spiritual Development, Inc. Tiffany holds multiple qualifications, including:
- Usui/Holy Fire III® Reiki Master Teacher
- Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher
- Sekhmet Master Teacher
- Seichim Reiki Master Teacher
- RYT500 Certified Yoga Teacher
