Empowering Faith Communities: Project RejuveNation Tackles Mental Health
The Faith-Based Mental Health Initiative, Inc. is teaming up with Light of the World Christian Tabernacle International and the Morehouse School of Medicine to launch Project RejuveNation.
Project RejuveNation: A Mission of Empowerment
This initiative aims to empower Christian faith communities to address mental health within their congregations. Project RejuveNation equips clergy, lay members, and community members to become champions of emotional well-being.
Spiritually-Integrated Solutions:
Project RejuveNation recognizes the unique role faith plays in mental health. They advocate for spiritually-integrated interventions, combining spiritual support with professional mental healthcare.
Project RejuveNation Training Series:
A core component of Project RejuveNation is a 12-hour training series. This program utilizes an original manual to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to:
- Promote emotional well-being
- Prevent suicide
- Prevent substance misuse
Building Emotional Wellness Teams:
The training empowers lay members to become “Emotional Wellness Partners.” These individuals will offer vital emotional and spiritual support to those facing mental health and substance abuse challenges.
Interactive Learning for Lasting Impact:
Project RejuveNation goes beyond traditional lectures. Interactive exercises and video discussions led by renowned experts ensure a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
Equipping Leaders for Crisis Intervention:
The training equips clergy and lay members to recognize signs that require professional mental health intervention. Participants will learn how to utilize the 9-8-8 Crisis and Suicide Hotline effectively.
Join the Movement:
Project RejuveNation’s training takes place at Light of the World Christian Tabernacle International. This program offers an invaluable opportunity for Christian faith communities to address mental health within their congregations.
Become a Champion of Emotional Well-Being:
Sign up today and join the fight against mental health stigma. Project RejuveNation empowers faith communities to provide crucial support and promote emotional wellness for all.
